Soil treatments are always performed using the rates and application techniques prescribed by the product's label.
Service treatments are performed with the busy schedules of the contractor and homeowner in mind. Same day and Saturday service is available at no additional charge.
McKendree has several custom-built application rigs capable of delivering up to 15 gallons per minute. We respond faster and complete the job quicker.
DRIED-IN PHASE
STEP 2
Once the home is dried in and the plumbing and electrical work is completed, we retreat the bath trap(s) with a liquid termiticide.
We then apply Timbor to the studs and sill plate. The wood is treated "2 feet up and 2 feet in" from the bottom of the perimeter. Timbor is a borate wood preservative that is labeled for the prevention of subterranean termites. This treatment provides an additional barrier of protection against termite infestation.
The dried-in phase also provides the opportunity to install our built-in pest control system,
Eco-Tubes. We install a series of perforated tubes inside the walls, which are then accessible via an exterior-mounted service port. The homeowner is not obligated to use the system, but we do offer
affordable service. Service calls are typically performed quarterly, which is a convenient alternative to monthly treatments.
FINAL TREATMENT
STEP 3
Once the final grade and landscaping has been completed, we make a third trip to apply a liquid termiticide to the perimeter of the home without disturbing the newly installed landscaping. We then install a flush-mount EZ access panel at the bath traps and give the homeowner an executed copy of the full warranty termite bond.
For those homeowners that are interested in termite monitoring and baiting, we offer the Hex-Pro Colony Elimination Systemฎ. When McKendree installs this system, the termite warranty on the new home is automatically upgraded.
